Luther Home Personal Care Home is located at 1081 Andrews St. in West Kildonan , nestled between Leila Ave. and Partridge Ave. The Garden City Shopping Center is a three-minute drive to the West. West Kildonan Park is a three-minute drive to the North East.

The Home is a single story building and can accommodate 80 residents. We have 63 single rooms, 4 doubles, two quadruples and a respite. In many cases, residents are initially admitted into a shared room. Residents can request to be transferred to a single room. However, there are many factors taken into consideration when allocating resident rooms. We will make every effort to accommodate the wishes of individual residents, keeping in mind the needs of all of the residents.

Residents of the Home are individuals who can no longer live independently. They require nursing and other professional interventions on a daily basis to maintain their best level of function. Under the provincial level of care designation system, our residents would be considered levels 2, 3 and 4. These residents have health problems for which they require help with activities of daily living.
