Luther Home Chapel
The provision of spiritual care has always been an important part of Luther Home. In 2003, the ability to provide relevant spiritual care was enhanced greatly through the addition of a part-time chaplain. However, it was also a long held dream to build a dedicated chapel space. The existing space was multi-purpose in nature and did not lend itself well to church services, memorials and the like. The addition of a chapel was seen to be an critical component in the provision of spiritual care.
In 2005, the Cropo Foundation agreed to partner with Luther Home. The result is the construction of a beautiful chapel area attached to Luther Home.
On the 25th of October 2006; “A Place of Prayer” was officially opened at Luther Home and a long time dream had become a reality due to generous donations.
