It was an exciting time at Luther Home. The recreation team worked hard and brought Folklorama to Luther Home. The event took place from May 29 and ran until June 2nd. Each day we had a new country represented. The staff would dress in the colors of the country and the recreation area was decorated in the countries’ flags. The countries that were represented were Germany, Ukraine, Scotland, Ireland, and Brazil. It was so nice to see the recreation area packed with residents and family members enjoying all the entertainment. A huge shout out to VIP homecare who made a donation to help make this event happen. If any family members would like to make a donation for next year go and see Eddie from recreation. We are hoping to make this a yearly event.
