Recreation - New Programs

Hello Luther Home Families and friends,

We hope that everyone is safe and staying healthy, Recreation has some exciting new programs coming up.

The first one is a Virtual Resident council, which takes place the second Tuesday of every month at 2PM, this will give you a glimpse into what is going on at Luther Home, including any changes and upcoming activities that are on the horizon. You will have a chance to ask questions to the different departments as well comments are always welcome. To join the Resident Council meeting, an invitation link will be sent to your email a few days prior to the meeting. The second program is virtual trivia night, we will be inviting families via zoom to challenge our brilliant Residents. This program will run every Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm, please contact Eddie for more information.

The third program is our Pen Pal Program, we have teamed up with a School in Seven Oaks School Division who were regular visitors at Luther Home (pre-COVID), they would play Bingo with the Residents or do crafts with them. There are 20 Students who will participate with 20 of our Residents to write letters back and forth to each other.
